Upcoming Event · September 2026
Kriegsspiel Studio has the privilege of hosting a Kriegsspiel Napoleonic Peninsular War event planned to begin in September, featuring two Grand Masters of Wargaming Design: Jervis Johnson and Alessio Cavatore.
The event will be run as a Play by Post format and will be documented for everyone's viewing pleasure. Watch this space.
Convention · July 2026
Pete the Elder will be attending Historicon in the United States this month — one of the largest historical miniatures wargaming conventions in the world. If you are going to be there, come and say hello.
As well as being at the convention, Peter will be helping to umpire a Kriegsspiel event the day before the convention starts between two big wargame YouTube channels, Little Wars TV and Mark's Game Room. The event will be umpired alongside the International Kriegsspiel Society, which now has over 6,000 members — of which Peter is a founder and board member. There will be a video or two on this event so I will keep you posted on when that is released.
